The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware

My Thoughts:

This was a great mystery/thriller if you’re just looking a quick read. It was just in depth enough to whisk you away, but not too much to confuse you into oblivion.

Parts of the story really aggravated me because there were a lot of times where if she just used her brain a little bit, things could’ve gone a hell lot better. She was the cause of her on downfall multiple times. You continuously saw her walking into her own demise and couldn’t do anything but watch it happen.

Storyline:

The beginning was gripping and intense which I wrongly thought was where the conflict started. However, that truly was just the beginning and that tragedy became her downfall in the end.

Lo Blacklock is a journalist who gets the “break of a lifetime” at her job and gets to spend a week reporting on a luxury cruise line. However, due to her previous tragedy, she becomes paranoid and attracted to every bit of danger.  While aboard, Lo witnesses a murder, or so she thinks. Because of her recent past she becomes an unreliable narrator.
